Who we are

Honestrail (“Honestrail,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Honestrail Creative LLC. Honestrail provides design, sourcing, and purchasing-coordination services to help customers find and buy furniture. Honestrail is not the manufacturer of any product recommended or purchased through the service.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, and information generated as you use the service:

• Contact details. Your name and email address, when you submit a request, verify your email to view your orders, or contact a designer.
• Request and intake information. The description of what you're shopping for, your stated budget, style preferences, room details, links you share, and other information you provide about your shopping needs.
• Photos you upload. Room or inspiration images you choose to upload as part of a request. These are stored in private cloud storage and are not publicly accessible.
• Order information, when applicable. If you authorize a purchase, we keep a record of the order: the item(s), configuration, quantity, pricing shown to you, order status, and communications about that order.
• Account/authentication data, when applicable. If you verify your email to view your orders, we use a passwordless, email-based sign-in (a one-time code or link) -- we do not ask for or store a password.
• Operational and email event records. Records of key steps in your request or order (for example, that a request was submitted, or that an order-status notification was prepared), kept for support and reliability purposes.

We do not collect or store full payment card numbers or card security codes anywhere in our systems. Payment coordination, where it applies, is handled through the payment method you select at that step.

How we use your information

• To generate and refine furniture recommendations for you.
• To connect you with a designer when you request designer assistance.
• To process and track an order you authorize us to help coordinate, and to communicate with you about it.
• To verify your identity when you sign in to view your orders.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service, and to diagnose problems.

How we share information

We share the information necessary to place and fulfill an order you authorize (such as your shipping details) with the relevant retailer or manufacturer. We use service providers to operate the platform, such as our database and hosting infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information.

Retailers and manufacturers

When you purchase a product through Honestrail, the retailer or manufacturer of that product remains responsible for its own warranty terms, product defects, and return/exchange policies, in accordance with their own policies. Honestrail is not a party to those warranty obligations.

Data retention

We retain request, order, and account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accurate records, and meet legal and operational obligations.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email contact@honestrailcreative.com for these and other requests.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
